Northern Trails

I am Anne-Marie Holm, a 30-year-old nature guide from Utsjoki. I come from the south, but I have already lived in Utsjoki for ten years.

Hiking has been my passion since childhood. I graduated as a nature guide in 2013 and since then I have trained my wilderness skills, got to know the nature of Utsjoki and wrote my blog Erämaan vaeltajatar (formerly Adventureland Lapland) to inspire as many people as possible to nature. Although I mainly hike alone, it is also rewarding to move in a group and I enjoy showing our unique and sensitive nature to our guests.

With me you can experience the joy of hiking and the basic skills needed to hike in the wilderness. My tours are suitable for people with a good basic condition, if necessary we can modify the activities to your liking.

On the tours and hikes I guide, I take my clients to destinations that I myself have thoroughly reviewed. These destinations offer versatile experiences of the nature of the Utsjoki River, and movement mainly takes place along the paths created by humans or animals.
